Following the Great Eden War, charged Edenium crystals became the primary energy source across the Sol and Eden systems, largely replacing all forms of power that came before.  When charged with photons, these crystals can store and release immense amounts of energy—fueling everything from buildings and vehicles to weapons and starships.
